Five officer roles, elected by the membership.

Chairperson

Chairs the board, represents PALI publicly and leads engagement with government and industry bodies.

Vice-Chair

Deputises for the chair and holds the brief for member standards and compliance.

Treasurer

Oversees finances, the annual audit and publication of accounts to members.

Secretary

Maintains governance records, AGM notices, minutes and the member register.

Insurance & Risk Lead

Works with brokers and underwriters on the group scheme, eligibility criteria and claims guidance.

Board members serve voluntary, unpaid terms and are re-elected at the AGM each year.

Insurance & risk committee

Works with brokers and underwriters on the group scheme, eligibility criteria and claims guidance.

Standards & safety committee

Owns the PALI compliance bar, inspection templates and incident reporting guidance.

Training & development committee

Sets the CPD calendar, workshop content and the member training academy roadmap.

Membership & communications committee

Member recruitment, the directory, newsletter and public campaigns.

Elections

Any member in good standing can stand for the board.

Nominations open six weeks before the AGM. Members receive the nomination form, candidate statements and voting instructions by email. One vote per member business, regardless of the number of sites.

AGM held annually, date confirmed to members each spring.
