What's assessed
Six things to have in order before you apply.
Documented risk assessments
Assessments covering every activity area, with controls, review dates and named responsibility.
Trained, ratioed staff
Evidence of induction, first aid cover and supervision ratios appropriate to your activities and age groups.
Equipment inspection records
Daily visual checks plus periodic third-party inspection of play, adventure or activity equipment.
Incident logging
A consistent incident and accident log, with follow-up actions recorded.
Claims history disclosure
Full disclosure of claims for the last five years. History doesn't automatically exclude you, non-disclosure does.

Typically eligible
- Indoor soft play and family entertainment centres
- Trampoline, climbing and adventure venues
- Activity centres and outdoor pursuit operators
- Play cafés, party venues and inflatable parks
Not currently considered
- Businesses that are not PALI members
- Venues unable to evidence current risk assessments
- Operators with undisclosed or unmanaged claims
- Activities materially outside the sector's scope
