PALI board meets IAAT partners at 2026 AGM

The PALI board welcomed IAAT — the Irish Adventure Activity Trainers — to the 2026 AGM to strengthen quality-assured training links for member venues.
Key points
- IAAT joined the 2026 PALI AGM to discuss training standards and member support.
- Partnership focuses on adventure activity qualifications, risk assessments and staff upskilling.
- Member venues gain clearer access to certified training and quality-assured instructors.
At the 2026 PALI Annual General Meeting, the PALI board met with representatives of IAAT, the Irish Adventure Activity Trainers, to formalise closer co-operation between the two organisations.
IAAT provides quality-assured adventure activity training across Ireland, covering everything from instructor qualifications and site-specific risk assessments to ongoing staff development and safety audits. For PALI members running soft play centres, trampoline parks, adventure centres and family entertainment venues, the partnership means a clearer route to certified training and recognised standards.
The discussion focused on three practical areas: making IAAT courses easier for PALI members to access, aligning training content with the real risks operators face day-to-day, and creating a simple referral path for venues that need instructor qualifications or safety reviews.
PALI will publish a training calendar and member discount details in the resources section over the coming weeks. In the meantime, members can find existing training courses and webinar recordings under Resources > Training.
